History

The international specialized exhibition dedicated to preservation, restoration, use, and popularization of cultural heritage, redevelopment and museum technologies «denkmal, Russia - Moscow» has been held in the Russian capital every two years since 2011. The event is organized by two partners — ICOMOS Russia and Leipziger Messe International GmbH. It is largely based upon the experience of the Leipzig Fair.

«denkmal, Russia – Moscow» is a platform allowing for experience exchange and business contact establishment. The three-day program includes young restorer competitions, master classes, and international panel discussions.

The event is traditionally held under the patronage of UNESCO and with the support of the Ministry of Culture Russia and the Government of Moscow. It brings together more than 3,500 industry players including restorers, artisan, architects, manufacturers equipment suppliers, as well as state representatives.
