Dissertation in the Department of History of Philosophy at the Leningrad Theological Academy, candidate of theology; 1993–1994: Researcher at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate 1994: by decree of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II and the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, he was appointed rector of the Russian Memorial Church in Leipzig 1995–2020: Author of a number of publications on the Memorial Church, in Russian and German.
