Anton Ivanov

Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg department of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments

Graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University, history department.
In 2005, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Council of the St. Petersburg department of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments.
Took part in the working group on amendments to the Federal Law on the Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects.
Since 2011, thanks to his active work, a scientific conference - «Tikhonov Readings», dedicated to the memory of Lev Pavlovich Tikhonov, a famous historian and public figure - is being held.
Since 2016, Anton has been the head of the city cultural project «Open City», which is introduces participants to the cultural heritage sites of St. Petersburg closed to the public.
In 2017, he organized a large-scale volunteer movement in the field of cultural heritage preservation.
Anton has a Certificate of Honor from the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation for services to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage.
Anton was awarded the honorary title of laureate of the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation for his contribution to the preservation and restoration of historical and cultural monuments.
