The Institution was created to carry out work, provide services in order to ensure state protection and popularize cultural heritage sites, identified cultural heritage sites.
The main activities:
examination and photographic recording of the state of cultural heritage objects with the preparation of draft acts of technical condition in order to determine measures to ensure their safety;
state expert assessment of historical and cultural heritage;
historical and cultural researches;
identification of cultural heritage sites for the preservation;
development of sections of project documentation on ensuring the preservation of cultural heritage objects.
