The purpose and task of the Agency is to preserve, effectively use and popularize cultural heritage objects (historical and cultural monuments) of the peoples of the Russian Federation, which are under the operational control of the Agency. The main activities of the Agency are:
Management and use of cultural heritage sites;
Research on the history of cultural heritage sites;
Implementation of restoration works, development of restoration programs;
Popularization of cultural heritage objects (holding events, master classes on the preservation of cultural heritage, photo, video shooting, support for volunteer movements).
