The Union of Restores of St-Petersburg is one of the largest non-governmental organizations facilitating development of the restoration industry. Currently it brings together 27 dedicated companies and 3 educational colleges. Under the auspices of the organization, gathered the best companies engaged in the restoration of the facades and roofs, interiors and furniture, items of decorative and applied arts, gilding and forged decor. Works of the companies members of the Union of Restores are annually granted the municipal, regional and international awards. The Union of Restorers of St. Petersburg was awarded the gold medal of the DENKMAL exhibition in November 2016 in Leipzig. During 15 years of existence, plenty of large-scale projects involving restoration of the cultural heritage objects, aside from regional but also of federal significance, such as Kazan Cathedral, Marinsky Palace, Yusupov Palace, Kronstadt Naval Cathedral, Smolny Cathedral, Kamenoostrovsky Theatre, The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, The Tsarskoe Selo State Museum-Reserve, The Pavlovsk State Museum-Reserve and many others.
